We are looking for an experienced Property Solicitor to join an established legal team based in Yeovil. This is an excellent opportunity for a property lawyer looking to manage a varied caseload within a supportive and professional environment. The Role
- Manage a varied caseload of residential property matters from initial instruction through to completion.
- Manage residential property transactions from instruction through to completion.
- Act for clients on sales, purchases and remortgages.
- Review contracts, title documentation and property information.
- Order and review searches.
- Raise and respond to legal enquiries.
- Identify and resolve title and transaction issues.
- Advise clients throughout the conveyancing process.
- Liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors.
- Prepare and review relevant legal documentation.
- Manage exchange and completion processes.
- Deal with post-completion requirements.
- Keep clients regularly updated on the progress of their matters.
- Manage deadlines and ensure transactions progress efficiently.
- Maintain accurate and compliant client files.
- Provide a high standard of client care and service.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with relevant regulatory requirements.
About You
We're looking for a confident Property Solicitor with solid residential conveyancing experience and the ability to manage a caseload with a good degree of autonomy. You should have:
- Qualified solicitor status in England & Wales.
- Strong residential property experience.
- Proven experience managing a caseload from instruction through to completion.
- Good technical knowledge of residential property law.
- Strong drafting, negotiation and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
- A proactive approach to progressing transactions.
- Confidence dealing with clients and professional stakeholders.
- A strong commitment to client service and compliance.
