Role and Responsibilities:
- Delivering Care Certificate training to new and existing staff members in line with current regulations and best practice
- Facilitating training relating to competency assessments, care planning, and risk assessment procedures
- Delivering First Aid and Basic Life Support (BLS) training, including CPR
- Developing and updating training materials, presentations, and learning resources
- Working alongside management teams to identify training needs and develop tailored programmes
- Conducting competency assessments and identifying areas for staff improvement and development
- Evaluating the effectiveness of training programmes and recommending continuous improvements
- Maintaining accurate records of training attendance, certifications, and competency assessments
- Ensuring all training activities comply with relevant legislation and organisational policies
Requirements:
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience delivering training within the healthcare or care sector
- Qualified to deliver the Care Certificate and other relevant care sector training programmes
- Train the Trainer qualification
- Experience conducting staff competency assessments, care planning, and risk assessments
- Certified in First Aid and Basic Life Support (BLS) training
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse groups of learners
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
