Role: Picker/ Packer Location: Leicester Salary: £12.21 per hour Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (8am-4pm) Contract: Ongoing temporary with potential for permanent placement About the Role We\’re recruiting reliable and detail-oriented Picker/Packers to join the team at a leading Leicester-based online retailer of socks, hosiery, and accessories. Operating from a modern 25,000 sq ft distribution centre, our clienct dispatches thousands of orders every week to customers across the UK and internationally. As part of the warehouse team, you\’ll play a vital role in ensuring orders are picked, packed, and dispatched accurately and on time to maintain the company\’s reputation for fast and efficient delivery. Key Responsibilities Picking customer orders using handheld scanners or printed pick lists. Packing products neatly and securely for dispatch. Checking product codes and quantities to maintain high levels of accuracy. Labelling parcels for courier collection. Re-stocking shelves and assisting with goods-in deliveries when required. Maintaining a clean, organised working environment and following health & safety standards. Skills & Experience Previous warehouse, picking or packing experience preferred but not essential – full training provided. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Able to work efficiently in a busy environment and meet daily targets. Good level of physical fitness – some light lifting may be required.
