You will be responsible for carrying out roofing works across a range of projects, maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety and customer satisfaction. \n What's on Offer: \n • Competitive salary, depending on experience \n • Supportive management and clear communication of work schedules \n • The opportunity to work with a reputable and professional roofing company \n Qualifications \n Essential: \n • CSCS Card \n • Proven experience as a Roofer \n • Experience working on flat roofs \n • Experience with felt roofing systems \n • Experience with lead work \n Desirable: \n • Relevant roofing qualifications \n • Experience working across domestic and commercial projects \n • Full UK Driving Licence \n Roles & Responsibilities \n • Carry out flat roofing works to a high standard \n • Install and repair felt roofing systems \n • Carry out lead roofing, flashing and weatherproofing works \n • Identify and repair leaks and other roofing defects \n • Prepare roof surfaces and materials prior to installation \n • Work safely and efficiently while following company procedures \n • Ensure all roofing works are completed to the required specification and quality standards \n • Use roofing tools and equipment safely and correctly \n • Liaise professionally with colleagues, site managers and customers where required \n • Maintain a clean and organised working area \n • Identify potential issues and report them to the relevant supervisor or manager \n • Work to agreed schedules and maintain good timekeeping \n • Undertake any other roofing-related duties as directed by the company \n Requirements \n As a Roofer, you will also be expected to: \n • Complete work to a consistently high standard \n • Follow drawings, specifications and instructions where required \n • Ensure materials and equipment are used correctly and efficiently \n • Work safely at height and comply with all relevant site safety procedures \n • Maintain a professional attitude when working on customer and client sites \n • Be flexible and willing to work across different projects when required \n Health, Safety & Compliance \n All employees are required to: \n • Comply with all employment legislation and relevant codes of good practice \n • Take reasonable care for their own health and safety and that of others in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and associated legislation \n • Co-operate fully with the company and colleagues to ensure statutory and safety requirements are always met \n • Follow all site-specific health and safety procedures and ensure appropriate PPE is worn at all times \n About Regional Recruitment \n This position is being advertised by Regional Recruitment Ltd, an award-winning independent recruitment agency established in 2008.
