Lettings Manager Crawley

We are looking for an experienced Lettings Manager to join an established property team based in Crawley.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced lettings professional who can combine strong operational knowledge with leadership, customer service and commercial awareness.

The role will involve overseeing day-to-day lettings activity, supporting a team and helping to drive growth across the local rental market.

The Role

As Lettings Manager, you will take responsibility for the performance and smooth running of the lettings function.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Managing the day-to-day operation of the lettings department
  • Leading, supporting and developing members of the lettings team
  • Overseeing new landlord instructions and rental opportunities
  • Conducting and supporting property valuations and rental appraisals
  • Managing applicant enquiries and ensuring a strong pipeline of prospective tenants

  • Monitoring departmental performance against agreed targets and KPIs
  • Handling escalated client and operational issues
  • Ensuring properties are marketed accurately and effectively

  • Producing relevant performance and management information for senior leadership

About You

We're looking for an experienced Lettings Manager or Senior Lettings professional with a strong understanding of the residential rental market.

You should have

  • Proven experience within residential lettings
  • Previous team leadership or management experience
  • Strong knowledge of the lettings process from instruction through to move-in
  • Experience dealing with landlords, tenants and applicants
  • A proven track record of achieving lettings or business targets
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities
  • Good understanding of relevant lettings legislation and compliance requirements
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • A proactive and commercially focused approach
