Are you an experienced HGV Technician looking for a stable Monday–Friday role with excellent career development? Regional Recruitment Services are recruiting on behalf of Bakers Environmental Solutions for an HGV Technician to join their Fleet Workshop team. This is a great opportunity to work within an independent workshop environment where you will gain hands-on experience across a diverse fleet while progressing your career through nationally recognised training programmes.

Roles & Responsibilities- Carry out inspections, servicing, and maintenance of HGV vehicles
- Conduct MOT preparation and inspections on HGVs
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults where required
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and inspections
- Complete all workshop paperwork and digital logs accurately and on time
- Prioritise tasks effectively to ensure smooth workshop operations
- Work collaboratively with the wider workshop team to maintain high standards
- Qualified or working towards NVQ Level qualification in HGV Maintenance or equivalent
- Experience working in an HGV workshop or plant maintenance environment
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Fault diagnosis experience is advantageous but not essential
- Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks
- Pride in workmanship and willingness to learn and develop
- A positive team player who maintains a clean and organised working environment
- Competitive salary £32,000 – £35,000 per year (dependent on experience)
