We're working with a market-leading manufacturer based in Leicester, specialising in heavy plant equipment. Due to continued growth, they're now looking to recruit Electrical Fitters / Industrial Electricians to join their workshop team. This is a hands-on role working on large-scale machinery and complex control systems — ideal for someone who enjoys technical challenges and detailed electrical work.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Wiring and installing electrical systems on heavy plant machinery
- Building and wiring large industrial control panels (high I/O volumes)
- Working on motors, control systems, and associated components
- Fault finding using electrical schematics
- Testing circuits using voltmeters and diagnostic tools
- Supporting the build and commissioning of equipment
Requirements
- Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition qualified
- Experience wiring machinery and industrial equipment
- Background in panel building and control systems
- Strong fault-finding skills using schematics
- Confident using testing equipment such as voltmeters
- Practical, hands-on approach with good attention to detail
