Location: Swindon

Pay Rate: £14.86 per hour

Shift Pattern: 8pm-5am

Contract Type: Temp - Permanent

Start Date: ASAP

About the Role

We are currently seeking experienced and motivated FLT Counterbalance Driver to join a leading goods distribution company in Swindon on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to become a key part of a growing team within a well-established organisation.

You will be working in a modern, fully equipped warehouse that includes excellent on-site facilities such as:

  • Canteen
  • Smoking area
  • Free car parking
  • Locker room

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate Counterbalance (D2) to load, unload, and move goods efficiently
  • Pick, pack, label, and store stock accurately
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
  • Provide excellent service by ensuring orders are processed correctly and on time
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management
  • This position includes heavy lifting
  • Follow all health, safety, and company procedures

Requirements

  • Valid D2 Counterbalance Licence (essential)
  • Previous experience operating Reach Trucks in a warehouse setting
  • Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy with paperwork
  • Basic computer skills (for data entry and stock processing)
  • Good communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
