About the Role
We are currently seeking experienced and motivated FLT Counterbalance Driver to join a leading goods distribution company in Swindon on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to become a key part of a growing team within a well-established organisation.
You will be working in a modern, fully equipped warehouse that includes excellent on-site facilities such as:
- Canteen
- Smoking area
- Free car parking
- Locker room
Key Responsibilities
- Operate Counterbalance (D2) to load, unload, and move goods efficiently
- Pick, pack, label, and store stock accurately
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
- Provide excellent service by ensuring orders are processed correctly and on time
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
- This position includes heavy lifting
- Follow all health, safety, and company procedures
Requirements
- Valid D2 Counterbalance Licence (essential)
- Previous experience operating Reach Trucks in a warehouse setting
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with paperwork
- Basic computer skills (for data entry and stock processing)
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
