Job Title: Fire Stopper Location: Central London Pay/Day rate: £190 – £200 per day Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 16:30 (1-hour unpaid break) Type: Temporary Job Start Date: Wednesday 23rd July We are hiring for Fire Stoppers who are experienced in Quelfire batt and mastic installation to work on a commercial construction site in Central London . This is a short-term project with the potential for extension, working in a well-organised, professional site environment. You will play a crucial role in fire protection installation, helping ensure works are completed to exact standards. Duties of a Fire Stopper In this role you will be working in the passive fire protection team. You will be responsible for: Installing Quelfire batt and mastic to manufacturer specification Logging all installations using Bolster Systems (adding photos and data) Ensuring installations are accurately recorded with location services enabled Maintaining a high standard of work and cleanliness Working professionally with the site team and supervisor Skills and Experience of a Fire Stopper As a Fire Stopper, you need to have experience with: Quelfire fire protection systems Fire-stopping on commercial construction sites Using Bolster Systems for job logging It would be beneficial to the Fire Stopper role if you also had: Good verbal communication and punctuality Your own PPE including: Safety boots, hard hat, hi-vis vest, safety glasses, gloves Proper workwear: dark plain top and work trousers (no jeans/joggers) What the Client Offers a Fire Stopper This client offers: Free on-site parking (registration required) All materials and equipment supplied by site supervisor On-site support from a dedicated Project Supervisor Opportunity for ongoing work depending on performance About the Client Our client is a leading passive fire protection contractor delivering specialist services across large commercial and public buildings.
