A growing and well-established electrical compliance contractor is seeking an experienced Electrical Operations Manager to lead its Electrical Operations division. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong leader to join a successful business delivering electrical compliance and service contracts across the commercial sector.

  • Managing a team of 20+ office and field-based staff
  • Overseeing commercial electrical compliance contracts across various sites
  • Coordinating labour planning, materials and operational resources
  • Conducting site visits to monitor progress and contract performance
  • Working closely with senior management and estimating teams to maintain budgets
  • Ensuring all work meets required quality and compliance standards
  • Supporting NICEIC compliance as a Qualified Supervisor

Contracts typically cover a range of sites including schools, offices, industrial facilities, warehouses, public buildings and healthcare environments.

  • Proven experience working as an electrician in maintenance, installation, or service environments
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
  • Good organisational and time-management abilities

Minimum 3 years' experience as an Electrical Contracts or Operations Manager:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
  • Inspection & Testing (C&G 2391 or equivalent)
  • Strong understanding of BS7671 and electrical compliance regulations
  • Experience managing commercial electrical contracts
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Health & Safety qualifications (IOSH, SSSTS or SMSTS)

  • Experience delivering both small and large-scale electrical projects
