Regional Recruitment Services are currently recruiting for a Shift Technician / Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a large, fast-paced manufacturing site in Coventry.
This role would suit an electrically biased maintenance engineer who enjoys working in a highly automated environment and takes pride in plant reliability, safety, and continuous improvement.
The Role
- Carry out planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance on a wide range of manufacturing equipment
- Diagnose faults and support root cause analysis to improve plant reliability
- Support autonomous maintenance teams through coaching and technical guidance
- Ensure all work is completed safely, accurately, and to quality standards
- Contribute to continuous improvement, 5S, and reliability initiatives
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Engineering or time-served apprenticeship
- Electrical or electro-mechanical background
- Experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment preferred
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work continental shifts, including nights and weekends
