We are currently recruiting for an experienced Car Mechanic on behalf of a reputable and growing automotive business based in Leicester. The Role:
As a Car Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to a high standard. You will work across a wide range of makes and models, completing both mechanical and electrical repairs, MOT preparation, and routine servicing.
Key Responsibilities:

Carry out servicing, repairs, and diagnostics on a variety of vehicles

Perform mechanical repairs including brakes, suspension, clutches, engines, and gearboxes

Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards and in line with health & safety procedures

Work efficiently to meet deadlines while maintaining excellent attention to detail

Communicate effectively with the service team and customers as required
Ideal Candidate:

NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent)

Proven experience as a vehicle technician or mechanic

Confident in diagnosing and repairing faults independently

MOT testing qualification desirable but not essential

Reliable, hardworking, and a team player with a strong work ethic
