Are you an experienced Banksman? Regional Recruitment are recruiting for a dependable and safety-focused Banksman to join a professional and growing construction services company. This is a site-based contract role requiring a proactive individual who can work independently and as part of a wider team. You will be responsible for guiding plant and vehicle movements, ensuring site operations run safely and efficiently at all times.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Valid CSCS Card
  • Previous experience working as a Banksman on busy construction sites
  • Banksman / Vehicle Marshal Ticket (CPCS or NPORS)

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Safely guide plant and vehicle movements on site
  • Maintain clear communication with operators using recognised hand signals
  • Ensure safe maneuvering in confined or high-risk areas
  • Assist with deliveries and site logistics
  • Maintain pedestrian and vehicle segregation
  • Monitor site access and ensure safety procedures are followed
  • Support site teams with general duties when required
  • Uphold site health & safety standards at all times

Requirements

As a Banksman, you will also be expected to:

  • Be alert, focused, and safety-conscious at all times
  • Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Be reliable, punctual, and professional
  • Have a good understanding of construction site operations
  • Provide references from previous employment
