Location: Northampton

Hours: 40 hours per week, Sunday to Thursday

Salary: £14/h

Shift: 10pm till 7am

About the Role

As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will play a key role in overseeing daily operations, maintaining high standards, and ensuring timely dispatch of consignments. You will lead by example, fostering a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate the warehouse team to achieve performance targets and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Ensure all deliveries are accurately checked, scanned, and prepared for dispatch to meet customer expectations.
  • Support the Warehouse Shift Manager in implementing new processes and technologies to improve efficiency.
  • Maintain strong communication with supervisors across shifts to ensure smooth handovers.
  • Inspect products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Plan and allocate resources effectively to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Conduct staff training, performance evaluations, and one-to-one coaching sessions.
  • Identify and address any training gaps within the team.
  • Oversee disciplinary procedures, investigate accidents, and resolve escalated complaints.
  • Foster strong relationships across departments, including Transport, Customer Service, and Administration.

  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Proven experience in managing a team.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Forklift licences (desirable but not essential).
