Location: Leicester

Pay/Day rate/Salary: £14.55-£18.20 per hour (depending on experience). Can be salary for the right candidate.

Hours of Work: 16 hours per week (part-time, flexible schedule).

Type: Temp to Perm.

Start Date: Immediately (flexible for notice periods).

We are hiring for an Estimating Coordinator who has strong IT skills and can work with construction-based tender documents in Leicester. This is a key support role within a construction estimating team with the opportunity to progress into a full Estimator position. You will be assisting with coordination of tender documents, supplier communication, and reviewing technical specifications.

Duties of an Estimating Coordinator:

  • Managing incoming tenders via platforms such as Conquest, Asite, and 4Projects.
  • Reviewing and logging tender documentation including BoQs, specifications and drawings.
  • Creating and maintaining job folders and estimating spreadsheets.
  • Liaising with suppliers for quotes and ensuring complete documentation is submitted.
  • Supporting the Estimator with admin tasks, quote follow-ups, and preparing pricing information.

Skills and Experience of an Estimating Coordinator:

  • Advanced Excel skills, including formulas and spreadsheet management.
  • IT systems and cloud platforms (e.g. Dropbox, Asite, Conquest, 4Projects).

It would be beneficial to the Estimating Coordinator role if you also had:

  • Experience working in a construction or estimating environment.
  • Knowledge of BoQs, specifications, and technical drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail, multitasking ability, and interpersonal communication skills.
