Role: Area Sales

Location: Nottingham

Pay rate/Salary: Base Salary £45k to £55k + Bonus Available

Hours of Work: Monday – Friday

Type: Permanent – Office/Field based

Start Date: Immediately (flexible for notice periods)

My client is a leading Electrical Wholesaler, one of the largest in the UK, they are recruiting for an External Sales Manager in their Nottingham Branch.

The Role of Sales Manager:

  • Growing and increasing sales in the branch’s geographical area.
  • Continually identifying and developing new and existing business accounts.
  • Developing strong customer relationships to maximise the full potential of all accounts.
  • The ability to not be afraid of rejection, be it on the phone or face to face.
  • Working as part of a tightly knit team to achieve high standards of business excellence.

Essential Sales Manager Skills:

  • Electrical Wholesale experience
  • Cold calling on the telephone willingness and tenacity
  • The ability to approach companies direct, understanding how to spot a suitable target company
  • Able to demonstrate sample products confidently face to face to potential clients
  • The ability to build and sustain professional relationships.
  • The ability to independently plan, organise and work to tight deadlines.
  • Smartly presented portraying a professional company image
  • A valid UK driving licence
