Senior Android Engineer – UK Remote – Permanent

Salary – £70,000 – £80,000

Our technology agency client is seeking a Senior Android Engineer to help build a next generation Android application for a fleet of managed devices. This UK based remote role is ideal for an Android Engineer who enjoys modern Kotlin development, CLEAN architecture and delivering polished UI/UX. As an Android Engineer, you’ll own a high quality codebase, drive new features and collaborate with product, design and backend teams. Perfect for an Android Engineer who thrives on autonomy, technical problem solving and delivering robust Android solutions.

Key Skills – Senior Android Engineer

• Strong commercial experience as an Android Engineer using Kotlin
• Deep understanding of CLEAN architecture (UI, Domain, Data layers)
• Android Jetpack/AndroidX (Compose, Navigation, ViewModels)
• Dependency injection: Hilt/Dagger
• Kotlin Coroutines
• Networking with Retrofit / OKHTTP
• Work Manager for background scheduling and OTA content workflows
• Enterprise / Managed App Store deployment experience
• Kiosk-mode or restricted-mode Android knowledge
• Firebase/Google Analytics integration
• Strong Git experience and multi-repo management
• Ability to deliver complex UI, motion and animated interactions
• Localisation, asset delivery and content driven Android builds
