A client of ours is seeking a DevOps Engineer with strong Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) expertise to strengthen its engineering function and drive the evolution of scalable, secure cloud platforms. The Role
You’ll be part of a skilled DevOps team focused on designing, implementing, and maintaining modern Azure-based environments. This includes building new platforms, optimising existing systems, and embedding best practices in automation, resilience, and performance tuning. A key part of this role is the ability to truly understand, design, and execute Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) principles, not just writing templates, but architecting scalable and reusable automation frameworks that align with operational and security requirements.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a DevOps or cloud engineering role, ideally within cloud-native environments.
- Proven hands-on experience with Azure Pipelines, Azure SQL, CosmosDB, Service Bus, and related services.
- Deep understanding and practical execution of IaC using Bicep or ARM templates, including design, modularisation, and environment lifecycle management.
- Solid grasp of CI/CD tooling, automation scripting (PowerShell), and source control (Azure Git or equivalent).
- Experience deploying and managing Docker containers and Kubernetes clusters.
- Familiarity with performance optimisation, load testing, and Application Insights.
- Working knowledge of security best practices, SSO, and web server technologies (IIS, Nginx).
