Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre is looking to build its database of Freelance Lighting Technicians to support production periods across our busy and varied 2026 season. This is a general call-out for technicians interested in being considered for freelance work across our programme, rather than recruitment for a specific contract or role.
Engagements may vary in length and responsibility depending on the production, and may include fit-ups, technical rehearsals, maintenance calls, performances, changeovers, concerts and one-off events. We are keen to hear from technicians with a range of experience and backgrounds who are interested in working in our unique outdoor theatre environment.

Should you prefer to submit a video of yourself (lasting no more than 10 minutes) or a voice note (lasting no more than 10 minutes) instead of providing a cover letter, then please do.
This is a call-out to build our database of Freelance Lighting Technicians rather than a recruitment process for a specific role.
