Regent's Park Open Air Theatre is looking to build its database of Freelance Lighting Technicians to support production periods across our busy and varied 2026 season. This is a general call-out for technicians interested in being considered for freelance work across our programme, rather than recruitment for a specific contract or role.
Engagements may vary in length and responsibility depending on the production, and may include fit-ups, technical rehearsals, maintenance calls, performances, changeovers, concerts and one-off events. We are keen to hear from technicians with a range of experience and backgrounds who are interested in working in our unique outdoor theatre environment.
More information on the role can be found in the job pack. To apply for this role, please download and complete the Personal Details Form and return with a cover letter and CV to jobs@openairtheatre.com by 10am on Tuesday 24th February. Should you prefer to submit a video of yourself (lasting no more than 10 minutes) or a voice note (lasting no more than 10 minutes) instead of providing a cover letter, then please do.
This is a call-out to build our database of Freelance Lighting Technicians rather than a recruitment process for a specific role. Applications will be reviewed on an ongoing basis, and there will be no formal interview process. We will retain submitted CVs and contact individuals as and when suitable opportunities arise. Due to the volume of interest expected, we regret that we are unable to provide individual feedback.
