Due to continued growth within our Service Department, our parent company Harry Dalby Engineering is looking to recruit a Field Service Engineer to work on customers’ spraybooths and associated equipment across the UK. This is a hands-on, field-based role involving servicing, fault-finding, breakdown response, and support with installations. The position requires nationwide travel, with overnight stays as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Servicing spraybooths and related equipment, including:
- Changing filtration systems
- Checking and adjusting system airflows
- Checking and servicing gas burners
- Replacing drive belts
- Carrying out LEV inspections
Skills, Qualifications & Experience:
- Gas Safe qualified for Commercial Gas / Heating and Ventilation (required)
- Electrical qualification or demonstrable electrical experience
- IPAF certification
- CSCS card
- Full UK driving licence (required)
Salary & Benefits:
- Basic salary: £30,500 – £35,000 per annum - depending on experience
- Overtime paid at time and a half after 39 hours and for Saturday working
- Double time for Sundays and Bank Holidays
- Overnight stay allowances
- Company van provided
- Power tools provided
