Due to continued growth within our Service Department, our parent company Harry Dalby Engineering is looking to recruit a Field Service Engineer to work on customers’ spraybooths and associated equipment across the UK. This is a hands-on, field-based role involving servicing, fault-finding, breakdown response, and support with installations. The position requires nationwide travel, with overnight stays as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Servicing spraybooths and related equipment, including:
  • Changing filtration systems
  • Checking and adjusting system airflows
  • Checking and servicing gas burners
  • Replacing drive belts
  • Carrying out LEV inspections
  • Attending urgent breakdowns, diagnosing faults, and completing repairs where possible
  • Identifying and reporting any additional parts or remedial work required
  • Assisting with installations and remedial works when necessary
  • Travelling nationwide to customer sites, including overnight stays where required
  • Skills, Qualifications & Experience:

    • Gas Safe qualified for Commercial Gas / Heating and Ventilation (required)
    • Electrical qualification or demonstrable electrical experience
    • IPAF certification
    • CSCS card
    • Full UK driving licence (required)

    Salary & Benefits:

    • Basic salary: £30,500 – £35,000 per annum - depending on experience
    • Overtime paid at time and a half after 39 hours and for Saturday working
    • Double time for Sundays and Bank Holidays
    • Overnight stay allowances
    • Company van provided
    • Power tools provided
