Our parent company Harry Dalby Engineering is looking for an experienced Project Manager to manage medium to large size Paint Spraybooth installation from order stage to final completion, including final payment, before handover to the after sales department. You will be responsible for management of all site installation activities and the customer relationship during the installation period.
Responsibilities:
- Main point of contact with customers from order placement to handover
- Conducting Pre Installation site surveys
- Liaising with all internal departments to manage all elements of the project
- Liaising with the customer and their agents on all elements of the project
- Having responsibility for the Health & Safety of the installation
- Arranging and co-ordinating installation teams and wiring/commissioning teams
- Arranging and co-ordinating support services required during the contract; such as transportation and hire equipment
- Arranging and managing wiring & commissioning teams and all necessary support services required during the wiring & commissioning phase
- Providing the necessary remote site supervision required for contracts
- Visiting sites to progress contracts and troubleshoot problems, lodging away from time to time
- Acting as quality agent/inspector for the site works and supporting documentation
- Collating financial performance of contracts and providing feedback for future contracts

- Draughtspersons responsible for the design of the Spraybooth contracts
- Electrical engineer responsible for the electrical design of the Spraybooths
Responsible to: Contracts and Service Manager
Qualification / Experience:
- Preferably HNC or higher, qualified in an engineering or HVAC discipline
- 5 years + experience of working within a company involved in the installation of engineered or constructed product
- Good communication skills with a range of individuals; Customers to site operatives
- Well organised with very good administration discipline
- Understanding of technical drawings
- Computer literate in MS applications
- Health & Safety qualification or accreditation preferred
