The Role
As a Lecturer you will design, develop and deliver engaging teaching across a range of business modules, support students both in person and online, contribute to assessment and quality assurance, and be involved in scholarship and continuous curriculum improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver lectures, seminars and tutorials in line with curriculum standards.
- Develop and update teaching materials and maintain digital learning platforms.
- Set, assess and provide feedback on student assignments and exams.
- Support students academically and pastorally, including those with learning support needs.
- Engage with quality assurance processes and contribute to module and programme evaluations.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
- Lead modules and coordinate with associate lecturers where applicable.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- A Master’s degree in a relevant business‑related field.
- Experience teaching in Higher Education with strong digital teaching capability.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of HE quality assurance and validation processes.
- A flexible, student‑focused approach and commitment to continuous improvement.
- Willingness to work towards HEA Fellowship (if not already held).
Desirable
- PhD (or near completion) or equivalent industry experience.
- Research or enterprise activity involvement.
- Teaching qualification.
- Experience leading modules or academic teams.
