Regent College London is seeking an experienced and passionate Associate Lecturer in Nutrition to join our growing academic team. The Role

As an Associate Lecturer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and delivering engaging teaching across a range of Nutrition based modules. You'll support students both in person and online, contribute to assessment and quality assurance, and be involved in scholarship and continuous curriculum improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering lectures, seminars, and workshops aligned to module specifications
  • Updating and maintaining engaging digital learning content via VLE and MS Teams
  • Supporting student assessment and providing timely, constructive feedback
  • Advising students on academic and pastoral matters, referring where appropriate
  • Participating in moderation, standardisation, and academic quality assurance
  • Contributing to curriculum development and enhancement of the student experience

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • A Master’s degree in Nutrition or a related field
  • Demonstrable experience teaching Nutrition topics in a UK higher education setting
  • Excellent communication and digital teaching skills
  • Ability to develop innovative learning materials and manage hybrid delivery
  • Commitment to inclusivity and student centred learning

Desirable:

  • Teaching qualification or willingness to obtain one
  • PhD in Nutrition or equivalent industry experience
  • Fellowship of Advance HE (or eligibility)
  • Experience with Nutrition research, enterprise activity, or professional networks

Working Hours & Flexibility

Schedule may include daytime, evenings and weekends hours around your availability. Must be flexible to travel to our Central London Campuses: Holborn and Fitzrovia.
