Regent College London is seeking an experienced and passionate Associate Lecturer in Law to join our growing academic team. If you are dedicated to student success, thrive in an in-person teaching environment, and want to shape the next generation of lawyers, we want to hear from you!

The Role

Associate Lecturers are expected to be able to teach across foundation of legal knowledge modules. It would be advantageous if applicants could teach on some or all of the following modules to support with our joint business programmes:

  • MGT5015 Corporate Finance
  • MGT5028 Marketing Strategy and Implementation
  • MGT5027 Management Accounting
  • MGT6018 Corporate Governance and CSR
  • MGT6027 Social Enterprise

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering lectures, seminars, and workshops aligned to module specifications
  • Updating and maintaining engaging digital learning content via VLE and MS Teams
  • Supporting student assessment and providing timely, constructive feedback
  • Advising students on academic and pastoral matters, referring where appropriate
  • Participating in moderation, standardisation, and academic quality assurance
  • Contributing to curriculum development and enhancement of the student experience

What We Are Looking For

Essential:

  • A Master’s degree in Law or a related field
  • Demonstrable experience teaching Law topics in a UK higher education setting
  • Excellent communication and digital teaching skills
  • Ability to develop innovative learning materials and manage hybrid delivery
  • Commitment to inclusivity and student-centred learning

Desirable:

  • Teaching qualification or willingness to obtain one
  • PhD in Law or equivalent industry experience
  • Fellowship of Advance HE (or eligibility)
  • Experience with Law research, enterprise activity, or professional networks

Working Hours & Flexibility
