Regent College Londonis seeking an experienced and passionate Lecturer in Electrical Engineering to join our growing academic team. The Role
As a Lecturer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and delivering engaging teaching across a range of engineering modules. You\’ll support students on campus, contribute to assessment and quality assurance, and be involved in scholarship and continuous curriculum improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver lectures, seminars, and tutorials in line with curriculum standards
- Develop and update teaching materials and maintain digital learning platforms
- Set, assess, and provide feedback on student assignments and exams
- Support students academically and pastorally, including those with learning support needs
- Engage with quality assurance processes, contribute to module and programme evaluations
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes
- Lead modules and coordinate with associate lecturers where applicable
What We’re Looking For
Essential
- A Master\’s degree in a relevant engineering-related field
- Experience teaching in Higher Education, with strong digital teaching capability
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of HE quality assurance and validation processes
- A flexible, student-focused approach and commitment to continuous improvement
- Willingness to work towards HEA Fellowship (if not already held)
Desirable
- PhD (or near completion) or equivalent industry experience
- Research or enterprise activity involvement
- Teaching qualification
- Experience leading modules or academic teams
