Regent College London is seeking Admissions Tutors to support the admissions process for Business programmes. The role involves conducting online Intention to Study Meetings (ISMs) with applicants entering through non-standard routes, assessing their academic readiness, motivation, and suitability for higher-level study.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct structured online ISMs for Business applicants.
- Assess academic/professional backgrounds, subject knowledge, and preparedness.
- Explore applicants’ motivation, learning approaches, and career goals.
- Provide evidence-based recommendations and complete ISM reports promptly.
- Identify and communicate any support needs.
- Ensure compliance with ISM procedures, academic standards, and GDPR.
- Contribute to training, quality assurance, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with Programme Leaders and the Dean on admissions and assessment criteria.
About You
- Degree in Business, Management, or related field (essential).
- HE teaching experience and strong understanding of academic standards.
- Excellent communication, judgement, and organisational skills.
- Confident using Microsoft Teams and maintaining digital records.
- Sensitive to diverse applicant backgrounds.
- Desirable: experience with structured interviews, UK HE admissions, and flexible availability.
