REGENESIS, the global leader in in situ remediation solutions, is seeking a technically minded contaminated land professional to join our remediation design team working in the UK and Scandinavia.
About the role
You will play a pivotal role in understanding client needs and designing bespoke remediation solutions, then providing high-quality proposals and technical support throughout each project. You will work with the team to provide successful remedial designs for sites ranging from huge plume treatments, small hotspots, to barriers preventing the movement of emerging contaminants and everything in between. You will collaborate with teams across Europe and the USA, contributing to innovative technical projects. This varied role covers all REGENESIS designs and projects throughout the UK and Scandinavia.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate site data and client requirements to qualify projects
- Develop robust technical designs and proposals in collaboration with the District Manager and Remediation Services teams
- Provide technical support to clients for application and data collection
- Complete on-site visits and measurements where needed
- Review validation data with clients
- Participate in technical meetings, conferences and deliver presentations to demonstrate effective remediation projects
- Assist in writing case studies, academic articles and webinars
- Undertake ongoing professional development
Candidate Profile:
- University degree in a relevant subject (e.g., Hydrogeology, Environmental Engineering, Geology, Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, etc.)
- Experience in contaminated land or environmental-related industry
- Strong computer skills, Microsoft Office, ideally AutoCAD
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Full UK car driving licence
- Proficient in English (written and spoken)
- Knowledge of other European languages advantageous
