The role
As a Multi-Skilled Technician at M&Y you will be required to complete all repair and improvement work safely, efficiently and to client satisfaction with excellent customer service.
You will be completing joinery works after gas installation including but not limited to capping, pendock, boxing, patching, installation of new door, shelves, architrave, rebate etc. You will be in communication with office staff, managers and tenants in order to meet deadlines and agreed targets.
The right fit
- An NVQ level 2 in core trade is essential.
- You must be methodical and accurate with a keen eye for detail.
- You’ll have excellent communication skills both written and verbal to liaise with office staff, managers and tenants.
- You have the ability to work as part of a team.
- You’re able to plan and prioritise your own workload in order to meet deadlines and agreed targets.
- Full awareness of health and safety requirements.
- Experience working in social housing and managing repairs is advantageous.
- Full UK driving license.
