The role
In this role, you will carry out gardening and grounds maintenance duties and deliver advice to residents, colleagues, and clients across the Greater Manchester and Cheshire region.
Specifically, you will carry out tree and gardening, grounds maintenance and other general repairs, being responsible for own safe working practices, being able to locate properties and grounds in various surrounding areas and effectively use a map and take directions.
You must organise a gardening schedule effectively and independently whilst documenting all works which are done efficiently and accurately. Effective communication with internal office staff, colleagues and managers is an essential part of the role.
The right fit
- You need demonstrable experience of horticulture and/or landscape maintenance.
- You’ll have a strong knowledge of horticultural procedures and the safe use of equipment such as lawnmowers, strimmers, hedge trimmers, chainsaws, chippers, and hand tools.
- You will have a commitment to excellent customer service.
- You’ll need awareness of relevant health and safety protocols.
- You must have the ability to keep accurate records.
- You’ll have experience of dealing with the public on a regular basis.
- You must have a full UK driving license.
