Pride In Place
The Pride in Fleetwood Board is established to oversee delivery of UK Government’s Pride in Place Programme (PiPP), which aims to create safer, healthier and more vibrant neighbourhoods. The Board plays a vital role in shaping the future of an area of Fleetwood ensuring that local voices are at the heart of decision-making, working collaboratively to develop a shared vision and long-term plan for the area.
The Board collaborates with the local MP and Wyre Council (the Accountable Body) in order to access Government funding.

The role
The Administrative Assistant will provide essential organisational and coordination support to enable the Programme and Governance Officer and the Pride in Fleetwood Board to operate effectively. This role provides administrative, governance and project support to the Pride in Fleetwood Board and Programme and Governance Officer. It includes coordinating meetings, preparing papers and records, managing correspondence and schedules, and maintaining accurate documentation to support effective programme delivery.
This role ensures smooth day-to-day administration, high-quality document management, proactive scheduling, and reliable support to help deliver community engagement and the wider ambitions of the Pride in Fleetwood programme. This includes supporting robust and accurate monitoring and reporting, financial administration, stakeholder communication, marketing and PR tasks, events and community engagement, requiring a well-organised and proactive approach across a busy and varied workload.

- Strong administrative experience.

- Financial administration experience.
- Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Suite of products, such as Office and Teams.
- The successful candidate will be required to undertake a Basic DBS check.

- Understanding of project administration.
- Knowledge of Fleetwood/community projects
