Job Duties for Chef De Partie
- Manage and run your designated section during prep and service
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes to the highest standard
- Maintain excellent food hygiene and safety practices
- Support menu development and contribute creative ideas
- Train and mentor Commis Chefs and junior team members
- Ensure stock levels are maintained and assist with ordering
- Work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to ensure smooth service
- Uphold kitchen cleanliness, organisation, and equipment care
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant environment.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary arts, and kitchen management.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
- Able to perform consistently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
