I'm currently recruiting for an organised and proactive Planner to join a busy, fast-paced team based in Winchester. As a Planner, you'll be responsible for coordinating a team of multi-skilled engineers and the wider supply chain, ensuring works are scheduled efficiently while maintaining high service standards and meeting operational targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage engineers' diaries to maximise productivity and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate daily schedules, ensuring appointments and resources are allocated effectively.
- Monitor and manage work in progress to ensure service level agreements and deadlines are met.
- Produce regular performance reports and analyse operational data.
- Liaise with customers, engineers, supervisors, and internal departments to provide updates and resolve scheduling queries.
- Support site teams by ensuring work is planned and delivered efficiently.
- Identify opportunities to improve planning processes and operational performance.
- Handle customer enquiries professionally, providing excellent service at all times.
- Ensure scheduling activities are carried out in line with health and safety requirements.
About You
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
- Previous experience in a planning, scheduling or coordination role.
- Strong IT skills, including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to prioritise a busy workload and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- A customer-focused approach with good commercial awareness.
- Experience producing reports and managing work schedules.
- A full UK driving licence is advantageous but not essential.
