Resident Liaison Officer - Hastings

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Resident Liaison Officer to join a well-established contractor delivering external refurbishment works across a portfolio of scattered residential properties in the Hastings area.

This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused professional who thrives on building positive relationships with residents while supporting the successful delivery of planned maintenance projects.

The Role

As Resident Liaison Officer, you will act as the key point of contact between residents, site teams and client representatives, ensuring clear communication throughout the lifecycle of the works.

Projects will include external refurbishment programmes, with a particular focus on the replacement of windows and doors across occupied properties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with residents and stakeholders.
  • Providing clear information regarding programmes of work, timescales and access arrangements.
  • Conducting resident consultations, home visits and pre-start meetings.
  • Managing enquiries, complaints and resolving issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Coordinating appointments and access for operatives working within occupied homes.
  • Supporting vulnerable residents and ensuring individual needs are considered throughout the works.
  • Maintaining accurate records, resident databases and project documentation.
  • Working closely with site managers and client teams to ensure a high standard of customer service is delivered at all times.

About You

  • Previous experience as a Resident Liaison Officer within social housing, planned maintenance or refurbishment projects.
  • Experience working on occupied properties and external works programmes.
  • Knowledge of window and door replacement projects would be highly advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational abilities with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple properties and work independently across a dispersed geographical area.
  • Full UK driving licence.
