About the Role:

We are seeking an organised, proactive Assistant Site Manager to support the delivery of a major social housing window and door replacement programme across Nottingham. Working with a leading Tier 1 maintenance contractor, you will help ensure this multi-year programme is delivered safely, efficiently, and to high quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to step up, gain large-programme experience, and work within a well-structured and supportive delivery team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Site Manager in overseeing day-to-day site operations across occupied and void social housing properties
  • Support the coordination of trades, subcontractors, materials, and programme schedules
  • Carry out daily site inspections to ensure work meets quality and compliance standards
  • Maintain high levels of resident communication and customer care
  • Ensure all works adhere to health & safety policies, RAMS, and industry regulations
  • Support progress reporting, site documentation, and updates to internal teams and the client
  • Help manage access arrangements, surveys, snagging, and sign-off processes

Requirements:

  • Experience in social housing planned works or maintenance (windows/doors experience desirable)
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work with residents in occupied homes professionally and respectfully
  • Understanding of site compliance, H&S, and quality standards
  • SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS, or equivalent qualifications preferred
  • Full UK driving licence
