We are currently working on behalf of a leading contractor within the social housing sector who are looking to recruit an experienced HIU Engineer to join their growing team across London. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer with experience working on Heat Interface Units, communal heating systems, and occupied social housing properties.
The successful candidate will be carrying out servicing, fault finding, repairs, and replacements of HIUs within domestic properties, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with current regulations.
Key Duties:- Service, repair, and maintain HIU systems
- Diagnose faults on communal heating and hot water systems
- Carry out reactive maintenance and planned works
- Work within occupied social housing properties
- Complete job reports and compliance paperwork
- Deliver excellent customer service at all times
- Previous HIU experience essential
- Strong plumbing/heating background
- Experience within social housing preferred
- Good fault-finding ability
- Full UK driving licence
- Relevant qualifications advantageous
