Electrical Operations Manager Location: Electrical Maintenance As part of a much wider group, the electrical division operates with a turnover of approximately £8m delivering a mix of compliance EICR contracts and project works supporting the larger business. Project delivery spans both public and private sector environments. Typical projects include: Lateral main replacements and electrical distribution upgrades Electrical installations within conversion schemes (small power, distribution, fire & smoke systems, access control) LED lighting upgrade schemes including control systems School refurbishment projects (lighting, power, fire and life safety systems) This is a senior leadership role responsible for managing the Electrical Division. The role covers the full project lifecycle, from pre-construction through to delivery and client handover. Pre-Construction Review potential bid opportunities, assessing risk and viability Develop bid strategies covering both commercial and quality elements Lead pre-construction design development with consultants and third-party specialists Agree commercial and operational targets Liaise with foremen and electrical leads to ensure programme compliance Monitor cost and value, reporting regularly to senior management and directors Identify, manage, and cost project variations General Management Provide regular reporting to senior management and directors Ideally from an electrical background with relevant technical qualifications Proven experience in bid management and project delivery Electrical Operations Manager Electrical Maintenance
