The Mobilisation Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the successful planning, coordination, and delivery of new project and contract mobilisations within the Repairs & Maintenance and Voids sector. Acting as a central point of coordination between project teams, operational delivery, and client stakeholders, the role ensures that all operational, compliance, and resource requirements are in place for a seamless transition from contract award to live service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute end-to-end mobilisation plans, maintaining timelines, milestones, and risk registers.
- Coordinate and support operational readiness by ensuring people, processes, systems, and assets are in place prior to go-live.
- Work closely with Operational, HR, IT, Fleet, Procurement, Commercial and Training teams to deliver joined-up mobilisation readiness and adherence to process.
- Support coordination of recruitment, onboarding, and training of operatives and administrative staff in line with contract needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress trackers, and compliance records to demonstrate readiness.
- Work with Compliance, H&S, and Quality teams to align mobilisation activities with internal and client standards.
- Maintain an audit trail of key mobilisation deliverables, ensuring full traceability.
- Monitor mobilisation progress against KPIs and escalate risks or dependencies proactively.
- Identify potential risks to mobilisation and escalate issues promptly. Support contingency planning to mitigate delays or operational challenges.
- Track resource utilisation and highlight risks or inefficiencies that may affect commercial commitments.
- Support the Contract Manager who will serve as a key point of contact for clients during mobilisation, providing regular updates and managing expectations.
- Support the Contract Manager to ensure smooth customer experiences during project transitions, addressing operational queries promptly.
- Collaborate with client and internal stakeholders to ensure service delivery expectations are met from day one.
- Facilitate effective communication and knowledge transfer between mobilisation and business-as-usual teams.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance automation in mobilisation workflows.
- Support post-mobilisation reviews to capture lessons learned and improve future processes.
