Job Overview
We are currently recruiting experienced Resident Liaison Officers (RLOs) to support projects in the Bromsgrove area near Birmingham. This role is key to ensuring clear, consistent, and professional communication between residents, contractors, and internal project teams throughout the lifecycle of works. The successful candidates will act as the primary point of contact for residents, helping to manage expectations, resolve issues, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact for residents affected by planned and reactive works
- Provide clear communication before, during, and after works, including letters, visits, and updates
- Build positive relationships with residents, addressing concerns and managing complaints professionally
- Liaise closely with site teams, contractors, and client representatives to ensure smooth delivery of works
- Carry out resident visits and attend site meetings as required
- Maintain accurate records of resident interactions, issues, and resolutions
- Ensure all communication is delivered in line with company standards and client expectations
- Support the project team with customer-focused reporting and feedback
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in a Resident Liaison Officer or customer-facing role within construction, housing, or maintenance environments
- Full UK driving licence
- Access to own vehicle (car allowance provided)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
- Confident using IT systems for record keeping and reporting
