At Regen Solutions, we are proud to partner with a leading provider in the social housing sector to find an exceptional Operations Manager. This is a high-profile leadership role responsible for the operational delivery of a high-quality, efficient responsive and planned repairs service, alongside voids and gas services. Leading an in-house direct labour organisation (DLO), contractors, and third-party suppliers, you will drive a culture of customer service excellence, safety, and continuous improvement.

With oversight of an operational budget exceeding £10m, you will play a pivotal role in strategic risk analysis, contract management, and data-driven performance management.

  • Operational Leadership: Lead and inspire an in-house repairs service, overseeing Responsive Repairs, Planning, Gas, and Voids to ensure maximum efficiency.
  • Performance & Compliance: Drive strong KPI performance across first-time fix rates, average completion days, and strict gas compliance (including TSM / H&S Board KPIs). Coordinate complex operational data into high-quality written reports for senior leadership, translating raw metrics into clear, actionable recommendations. Develop and maintain capacity models utilizing historical volume and seasonal trends to proactively shift labour between workstreams.
  • Commercial & Contract Management: Partner with the Commercial Manager to oversee contract management activity across the Contractor Framework to ensure excellent value for money. Embed a robust performance culture that includes resident involvement initiatives, ensuring customers have a voice in service design.

Degree-level education or equivalent through relevant training/experience. Extensive background in the social housing sector with a deep understanding of repairs, voids, and gas service delivery. Experience running a large-scale in-house workforce (DLO) utilizing advanced knowledge of Schedule of Rates (SOR) and scheduling/planning functions.
