We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established residential contractor delivering a high-quality development of eight new build houses in Slough. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyor looking to develop their career with a supportive commercial team. You will gain exposure to the full project lifecycle, working closely with an experienced Quantity Surveyor while taking on increasing responsibility as your experience grows.

The Role
Working as part of the commercial team, you will assist with the financial management of a live residential development, helping to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. You’ll be involved in cost control, procurement, subcontractor management, valuations and reporting, while developing a strong understanding of residential construction and commercial practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the commercial management of an eight-unit new build housing development.
- Support the preparation of cost plans, budgets and financial reports.
