We are looking for a skilled, reliable and professional Tiler to join our team in East London, carrying out tiling works across social housing properties. The role will involve working in occupied and vacant properties, delivering high-quality repairs, maintenance and refurbishment works to kitchens, bathrooms and other areas as required.
The successful candidate will take pride in their workmanship, maintain excellent customer service and ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out wall and floor tiling repairs, replacements and full installations in social housing properties.
• Prepare surfaces, including removing old tiles, repairing backgrounds and applying appropriate adhesives and waterproofing systems.
• Measure, cut and fit ceramic, porcelain and other types of tiles accurately.
• Grout, seal and finish tiled areas to a high-quality standard.
• Undertake kitchen and bathroom tiling as part of planned maintenance, responsive repairs and refurbishment programmes.
• Diagnose tiling defects and recommend appropriate remedial works.
• Work professionally in occupied properties, treating residents, their homes and personal belongings with respect.
• Communicate effectively with tenants, colleagues, supervisors and other trades.
• Complete work orders, job sheets and photographic evidence where required.
• Maintain tools, equipment and company vehicles in a good working order.
• Follow all relevant health and safety procedures, safeguarding requirements and company policies.
• Ensure work areas are left clean, tidy and safe on completion.

A clean drivers license and DBS is necessary for this role.
