With continued ambitious plans to achieve for growth and a secured pipeline of refurbishment projects, we’re looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our team. Based in Sunderland, this role offers a mix of on-site presence (2–4 days per week) and office time (1–2 days) to provide variety and balance. Join us as we deliver quality projects that make a difference. Key Responsibilities Oversee and manage all financial aspects of assigned projects, from inception to completion. Prepare, submit, and manage accurate valuations and applications for payment. Assess and process subcontractor claims and valuations. Handle cost control and monitoring to ensure projects are delivered within budget. Manage variations and produce cost reports for internal and external stakeholders. Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and provide contractual advice as needed. Procure and manage subcontractors, ensuring adherence to programme requirements and quality standards. Produce and analyse project costings, budgets, and forecasts. Attend client meetings and support the team in building and maintaining strong client relationships. Desired Requirements Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent. Proven experience in Quantity Surveying, preferably in refurbishment or construction projects. Strong understanding of construction contracts, particularly JCT. Excellent negotiation and cost management skills. Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities. Why Join RE:GEN?
