Do you have a meticulous attention to detail and are driven by data? If so, we have an opportunity for a Merchandising Admin and Product Assistant to join our Central Merchandising Planning Team here at The Regatta Group.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the creation and distribution of weekly and monthly reports of sales and stock figures to support management decision making and forward planning.
  • Ensure data is collated and uploaded onto the system in a timely manner.
  • Raise seasonal and in-season orders on the system.
  • Work with merchandisers to identify supply chain issues and deal with problems or delays as they arise.
  • Action stock transfers across our warehouses.
  • Ensure all stock movements are managed and processed into the system, based on merchandisers' requests.
  • Respond to all stock queries from brand and channel teams.
  • Conduct ad-hoc reporting as required.
  • Assist in seasonal product set-up.
  • Undertake other such tasks & duties as reasonably requested by your manager or other members of the management team.

Qualifications

  • Education to A level or equivalent, and having a grade C or above Maths GCSE.
  • Retail store or office experience is desirable.
  • An interest in learning about merchandising.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both 1‑2‑1 and in larger groups.
  • A can‑do approach to problem solving.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Interest in working with data and analytics.
  • Proactive desire to learn.
  • Good Excel skills and knowledge of Microsoft platforms.
  • Computer literacy, with the ability to pick up systems quickly.
