Are you a Junior Category Manager who is passionate about product development and looking to build your career in workwear?
We’re seeking a motivated professional to join our Regatta Professional team, playing a key part in developing products from conception through to launch while ensuring the highest quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities
As Junior Category Manager, you will support the Head of Product and Category Manager in the development, sourcing, buying and presentation of the Regatta Professional product range.
Working closely with colleagues across Product, Design, Buying, Sales, Marketing and our teams in Asia, you will play an important role in ensuring products are delivered on time, to the required quality standards and achieve target margins.
Qualifications
- Previous experience within product, buying, merchandising, category, sourcing or product development role.
- Good understanding of the product development process, from concept and briefing to launch and range management.
- Aware of safety standards and compliance requirements relating to workwear.
- Genuine interest in workwear, uniform, PPE and commercial product development.
- Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to analyse product testing information and interpret technical reports.
- Analytical mindset to interpret sales, stock and product performance data.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Confidence working with multiple stakeholders across different functions and international teams.
- Proactive and collaborative approach with willingness to learn and develop.
- Good commercial awareness and understanding of pricing, margin and product costing principles.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel and product management systems is advantageous.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work to challenging deadlines.
