Overview
Are you a Junior Category Manager who is passionate about product development and looking to build your career in workwear?
You will play a key part in developing products from conception through to launch while ensuring they meet the highest quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Support the Head of Product and Category Manager in the development, sourcing, buying and presentation of the Regatta Professional product range.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues across Product, Design, Buying, Sales, Marketing and teams in Asia to deliver products on time, to required quality standards and target margins.
- Participate in market research, product development, launch and sales support activities.
Qualifications
- Previous experience within a product, buying, merchandising, category, sourcing or product development role.
- Good understanding of the product development process, from concept and briefing to launch and range management.
- Awareness of safety standards and compliance requirements relating to workwear.
- Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to analyse product testing information and interpret technical reports.
- Analytical mindset to interpret sales, stock and product performance data.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Confidence working with multiple stakeholders across different functions and international teams.
- Proactive and collaborative approach with willingness to learn and develop.
- Good commercial awareness and understanding of pricing, margin and product costing principles.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel and product management systems is advantageous.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet challenging deadlines.
