Role Overview

Are you a commercially driven Category Manager with a passion for workwear and PPE? Looking for a role where you can own the full product lifecycle, influence innovation, and bring high-quality, compliant products to market?, As Category Manager, you will take full ownership of the Professional Workwear range, driving the briefing, development, sourcing, and buying strategy. Your work will directly influence product performance, ensuring ranges are delivered on time, to target margin, and to the highest quality and compliance standards. You'll play a critical role in shaping commercially successful ranges while ensuring all products meet PPE regulations and certification requirements.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

  • Proven experience within workwear, PPE, or uniform categories, ideally within a brand, distributor, or wholesaler
  • A strong understanding of PPE regulations, standards, and certification processes
  • Experience in submitting PPE technical files and analysing test reports
  • A keen commercial eye for design with the ability to balance innovation and cost
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to high standards
  • Strong communication skills, with experience working cross-functionally and with international teams (including Asia)
  • The ability to manage the full product lifecycle from concept to launch
  • Confidence in presenting ideas at key milestones, including range reviews and product launches
  • Travel to the Far East is expected within this role.
