Wigan is ideally located along the River Douglas and the Leeds & Liverpool Canal, with fantastic transport links to Manchester, Liverpool, and Leeds — great for commuting or exploring on days off.

This is a brilliant opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon with sole charge experience, who is looking to grow in a supportive, well‑established practice, with the flexibility that fits around real life.

There are lots of opportunities locally for our practice to grow. With the support of a management team consisting of an Ophthalmology and a Surgical Advanced Practitioner, you will be well looked after in your role.

Salary and hours

Salary – up to £65k FTE, dependent on experience. We are happy to discuss salary expectations with certificate holders. We are happy to discuss welcome bonuses too.

Hours – you will work a 4‑day week with a 1 in 4 weekend rota and no OOH’s. We are happy to discuss different shift patterns.

Relocation – we are happy to discuss relocation packages.
