This is a tax role, based at our office, reporting to a Tax Principal. The role will provide an opportunity to work on a wide-ranging portfolio of clients. The duties will include:
- Preparation of complex Tax Returns, dealing with clients and arranging submission to HMRC.
- Preparation of trust accounts and Tax Returns for submission to HMRC.
- Preparation of Inheritance Tax Returns.
- Dealing with queries and assisting tax staff and Principals.
- Maintaining a record of Tax Returns and payments and ensuring all returns are filed and payments are made on time.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills:
- CTA qualified with a desire to specialise in personal and trust tax.
- 2 years + experience, including dealing with trust Tax Returns.
- Experience gained in practice.
- Good IT skills and technical ability.
- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- The ability to prioritise and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
Hours of work: preferred Full Time post, with flexibility over hours. Remuneration will be dependent on experience.
