We're supporting a major enterprise datacentre migration programme and are looking for an experienced Technical Design Authority (TDA) to provide senior technical leadership across a complex migration landscape. This role sits at the centre of programme delivery, ensuring technical designs, migration approaches, and architectural decisions remain aligned across infrastructure, network, storage, compute, and application workstreams.
What you'll be doing:
- Acting as the lead technical authority across the migration programme
- Reviewing and approving technical designs
- Driving architecture governance and technical decision-making
- Identifying risks and dependencies from discovery and assessment activities
- Engaging with senior stakeholders, architects, engineering teams, and suppliers
- Representing the programme at design authorities, architecture boards, and change forums
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience as a Technical Design Authority, Lead Architect, or Senior Infrastructure Architect
- Deep understanding of compute, storage, networking, and application migration
- Experience working within complex enterprise environments
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Ability to identify risks early and influence technical direction
- Experience within regulated industries would be highly advantageous
